In 2017, the Simbas Music Band program was born out of a vision to empower the youth of Moshi. It wasn't just about learning notes; it was about providing a platform for talent, creativity, and cultural exchange. Through rehearsals, mentorship, and global support, we've seen young lives transformed by the power of music.

Herbert Mhina is a testament to this transformation. From his early days in the Simbas music rooms to his current path, his dedication has never wavered. His journey has been supported by Simbas Footprints Foundation every step of the way, ensuring that talent meets opportunity.

Currently, Herbert is sponsored to study at the University of TASUBA in Bagamoyo, an institution renowned for its artistic excellence. This scholarship is more than financial aid; it's an investment in a local leader. Upon graduation, Herbert is expected to return to Simbas to mentor the next generation of musicians, completing the circle of empowerment.
